Inspired by puzzles found in The Room by Fireproof Games. The design goal was to create an intricate puzzle box with unique puzzles on each side that combined to solve one final puzzle.
This project greatly helped me better understand my own abilities and how to scope projects better.
The original intent for the project had been to use a combination of Lego pieces and 3D printed parts to build a functioning prototype. When I had to scope down for budgetary reasons I decided to make it a VR project. When even that scope proved out of reach for a single person, I had to settle on just these animations. I still intend to make in real life at some point.
